This is the rebirth of F3B at Home. Do you remember? After my experience as helper of the Spanish team in the F3B WC in Laappenranta I have decide to make a "relaunch" of F3B at Home. Maybe the new name should be F3B at Blog but I prefer to go on with the old name. So welcome to my blog!

Rain and F3F
Weather forecast for weekend was awful, so just seven brave pilots met in Santa Coloma Slope for Winter Club Contest yesterday :-( I will not name anyone we missed...Arghhh!!! We stared some rain almost caught us from Barcelona and Ripollet. We suffered few light showers so we started Contest with rising wind in every round.
Luis Mejias didn't give us any chance, he won first round with lot of gap with other times and got 2 more 1.000 points. Distance between bases was about 85 meters to make safer our flights. Albert Ravell and me made our best flights in a Slope with amazing conditions in last round.
Next weekend 60" contest but I don't forget my f3b trainings. Colmar is closer what it seems... :-( Photos here.

I broke antena of my Futaba SG14 last weekend in Tolouse. Antena is already fixed but I was tempted for a T12Z... and I fell :-P As SG14 is on service I will make transmitter change after Montauban World Cup.

F5... F5... F5... Crazy Mondays
Some people think F3B is in decline. Lot of new class like F3K, F5J,... give us lot of opportunities to compete in World Cup and Eurotour Contests. I am not agree F3B is in decline, maybe is not a major class like 10 years ago but is still a Big One. Just try to register in F3B contest in f3b.de and you will make sure lot of people is practicing F3B. Colmar Registration was full in less than 30 seconds. Second contest, Kirchheim Open, lasted about 5 minutes.

Beep Beep...!!!
Fantastic weekend in Tolouse. It was a pitty because Sunday rose with rain :-( Anyway, we flew a lot on Saturday all day long. I am very thankfull with Roland Henninot, Sylvain Coloumb and Julien Gourdet for his help. Specially to Roland that gave me a lot of advises to improve my launches. We have strong wind all day so we broke some lines in first launches until we set thicker lines to make safe launches. A very positive experience, my plan until A Cañiza Open will be to make every month a train in France, I hope not to travel alone anymore next times... Dani, Carles, Sergi, Al, Dad, ...? ;-) Some photos here.

Ready for French F3B weekend
My French friends from Montauban and Beep Beep Team are waiting me for a good F3B weekend. We hope to fly all weekend near Tolouse. It's a good chance for me flying with good pilots. My idea is to travel to France once per month and be part of Beep Beep Team in F3B Contest. I will try to report tomorrow ;-)

Back to School
No f3b last weekend. I have made a grade for Royal Air Federation as Airshow Technician. Lot of time out of classroom. Now I have Junior Level so I have to feed up my CV to take a higher level. To pay my lack of flights I will go to Toulouse next weekend to train with Beep Beep Team. I am sure it will be a good experience. I hope to make some videos ;-)
