Daryl Perkins, Lord of the F3B's WC, was developing a F3B model called Schizo, some days ago I e-mailed him asking for it. He responded very soon and sent me some photos, here is the answer (very interesting opinion about the new trends in f3b planes):
"... did build and sell a few. It was a pretty amazing model, but fit and finish was a bit lacking compared to the models of today, and even though it was crazy fast, and stiffer than any model I've ever seen (I could sit on the center panel).... guys were not happy. I ended up selling the molds to a guy in the NorthEast.
Kyle Paulson flew it in all the local F3F events and went undefeated with it. He loved it. It's VERY fast. Fastest model I've ever seen. It had some launch and spiral stability issues, and Tony Johnson, the guy who bought it, is adding some dihedral to the center panel, and making a cross tail for it. That will really make it a great model.
I still don't agree with the direction the newer F3B models have taken with regards to size. They're giving up so much in launch. While they have done amazing things cleaning them up since I was successful (the sections, the smaller cleaner fuses, etc...), I think over the next few years, you'll see the models get larger again in an effort to get some of the launch back..."
Next year will be on production his last design, a f3j model, Stalker 3.9
This is the rebirth of F3B at Home. Do you remember? After my experience as helper of the Spanish team in the F3B WC in Laappenranta I have decide to make a "relaunch" of F3B at Home. Maybe the new name should be F3B at Blog but I prefer to go on with the old name. So welcome to my blog!

We have the sixth Contest of Catalonian F3F League 2008. I was going to released a nice second hand Caracho, unfortunatelly I crashed it in my third test fly on landing :-(
Best of the day... Hugo. 8 years old child that made his first flights in official contest. I hope to see very soon in F3B one :-) More photos here.

Good wedding gift for Andreas Böhlen
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs. Böhlen for their wedding. Needless to say that everybody would like to receive a present as Andreas received. I know someone that brought his wife (Just Married!!!!!!!) to Munich in their honeymoon travel... But I don't have words for this...
